When Weddings turn into a weekend event, there is an additional level of closeness and connection shared between everyone. Taking part in Jess & Chris Wedding was akin to having a night away with family & friends, laughing, crying, dancing, and celebrating.
And it all began with getting ready. I LOOOOVE the getting ready moments!! People often say they don’t need photographs before the Ceremony, but I believe it is frequently these moments shared with your closest buddies and family when anticipation and affection are high and being so freely expressed, that you capture some of the days special shots. During this part of the day, time moves a little slower before the final mad rush to leave, because all of a sudden after watching time move idly the fear comes of being late. Hanging out with Jess & Chris in the respective residences to prepare for the Wedding was so enjoyable. Everyone was looking out for each other and being so genuinely supportive.
Lavandula Swiss Italian Farm in Hepburn Springs created the perfect scene for the Ceremony in the Gardens followed by drinks and canapés as the sun began to set. The Reception was held at The Old Hepburn Hotel which had lovingly been decorated by Jess & Chris and their army of helpers. The whole Wedding was a great party that went way to fast! I feel super blessed to have been the one to capture the day and I hope the photos speak for themselves as to how amazing and loving the day was. Jess and Chris, you are authentically beautiful inside and out and that resonates with everyone around you.x
And lastly, I have to mention the flowers by Viva La Fleur as they were stunning, from the Hair Crowns to Bouquets and table arrangements, all were eye-fetchingly natural and beautiful. You should look them up if you are in the market for anything floral. Now for the photos to tell the story…
