Jess and Jonno did what I am sure a few people consider doing when planning a Wedding…go ahead and get married before everyone is quite expecting it.
The day before their official Engagement Party, Jess and Jonno gathered with their immediate family on the picturesque back beach in Sorrento and were married. A congregation of ‘family’ that weaved its connections through various layers, Jess & Jonno’s Wedding really was a true celebration of ‘family forever’. Everyone was helping in one way or another which created such an intimate and relaxed feel. In true Australian fashion though, a hundred March Flies also decided to join the guests leaving anyone in black to try and hide the constant leg slapping sounds during the Ceremony (including myself).
Despite the March Flies Jonno didn’t run, he and Jess were married, and another layer was added to the family forever. Lunch continued as a casual affair at All Smiles looking out over the Ocean. Chip eating contests, laughs and moments of remembering family floated in conversation as celebrations continued.
Thanks again Jessie and Jonno (and family) for having me along. And thank you Jess for being such a good sport about that wave none of us saw coming.
I love a beach Wedding. I was certainly at home shooting in bare feet and taking a dip in the Ocean afterwards.
